A traditional country pub, situated in the small village of Streatley, between Luton and Bedford, Bedfordshire,
We offer a selection of real ales including Greene King IPA and Abbott, with guest ales appearing regularly. We are cask marque accredited.
A wide range of food is available from midday, everyday til 9.00pm.

The chequers has a small garden with a play area for children, a large patio to the front of the pub with ample seating and a large car park. We are a dog friendly pub.
We are located next door to St Margarets Church, 4 miles north of Luton off the A6. There are excellent transport links to the M1, M25 and A1m with Luton airport a 20 minute drive.

Our pub opening hours are:
Monday to Thursday: 12pm - 11.30pm
Friday & Saturday: 12pm - 00.30am
Sunday: 12pm - 11.00pm

We can extend bar opening hours in certain circumstances with enough notice I.E. Parties, Weddings or Funerals.
